*S.T.R.O.M. Software shall only collect and store residents' personal information as provided to any given site for security function purposes. All data shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall be stored in the form of electronic documents as defined by the PIPEDA. Access to data shall be limited to management and security staff and, in the event that an investigation be required, to law enforcement representatives, as well as to a single third party solely for the purpose of storage. There will be no disclosure of any personal information without explicit prior consent, and S.T.R.O.M. shall provide all necessary measures to prevent unauthorized access to data.
*Data refers to respresentations of information or concepts, in any form, as defined by the PIPEDA.
*Electronic Documents is defined by the PIPEDA as the data that is recorded or stored on any medium in or by a computer system or other similiar device and that can be read or perceived by a person or a computer system or other similiar device. It includes a display, printout or other output of that data.
