TECHNOLOGY
S.T.R.O.M. has been developed using Linux Technology to provide a stable and secure operating system. A designated URL or host address will be created for each client. In order to use S.T.R.O.M. you simply require a computer and Internet connection. We will create your location profile and once completed, user names and passwords will be forwarded to site management and authorized users. Management will have control to create, edit and delete users at any time. Simply log into the site and start using S.T.R.O.M. Data backups are scheduled throughout each day both on and off site under stringent security encryptions. There is no third party hosting or outside servers used. Your information is secure and confidential
S.T.R.O.M. TOOLS
Detailed Resident Database - Our detailed resident database provides property management with a tool to file information concerning a particular suite and pertinent information relative to condominium/building living. It includes names, owners, telephone numbers, resident vehicle listings, lockers, parking spots in addition to many other crucial fields.
Comprehensive Parking Control System - S.T.R.O.M. provides a unique parking control system that will reduce parking violations and control your visitor parking areas. Parking passes will not be issued to resident vehicles, vehicles exceeding the maximum monthly amount and any vehicle banned by the property. Several search modes are provided to ensure precise information retrieval.
Shift Notes, Staff Memos, Daily/Incident/Fire Reports - These tools allow the user to create a variety of notes, memos and reports relating to your property. We realize that detailed reports play a crucial role in any environment and the S.T.R.O.M. tools provide the necessary means. A combination of reporting and alerts will keep management and staff apprised at all times.
Key/Parcel/Contractor/Visitor Logs - Use these logs to record and maintain a record of incoming/outgoing items. The optional signature pad feature will capture and store a signature in memory, for future reference if necessary. The visitors log will provide a means to track all visitors entering the property.
Instant Messaging - Communicate with staff and residents through the S.T.R.O.M. system, an internal email environment.
Bulletin Board and Online Amenity Reservations - A convenient way for residents to reserve an Amenity or post a classified through the S.T.R.O.M. system. All requests are subject to the approval of management before any request is accepted.
Remote Access - We realize that property managers often manage several portfolios, thus limiting the time spent on each property. Simply log into the system from any computer and you will instantly have remote access.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
The Client is responsible to provide and maintain a computer and printer, using a minimum operating system of Windows XP. Further requirements include: a web browser of IE 6 (or higher) or Mozilla Firefox (a free download), Adobe Reader and a legal internet connection on the designated property. The optional signature pad feature requires the use of the Mozilla Firefox Web browser. The signature pad equipment and installation disk, containing the required download will be sent to the client.
DATA MIGRATION
Migration and Implementation of information on the Client's S.T.R.O.M. site will be provided.
There are two methods used:
(1) S.T.R.O.M. supports Microsoft Excel and/or compatible databases and should the Client provide the said migration material in this form, the process is included in all packages offered.
(2) If the migration material is in a form other than noted in (1) a direct migration may not be possible and manual migration may be required. Our support team will advise of migration assistance terms.

*Electronic Documents is defined by the PIPEDA as the data that is recorded or stored on any medium in or by a computer system or other similiar device and that can be read or perceived by a person or a computer system or other similiar device. It includes a display, printout or other output of that data.
